yummy dishes i've made so far!!!

i love to cook, and here are a few of the dishes i've made so far at our new home...

lilith fair 2010

My sister Kat and I went to the Lilith Fair concert on July 12, 2010

Lilith Fair began as a movement to celebrate the many talented and diverse female musicians in the world. It was founded by our favorite Sarah Mclachlan in 1997. From 1997 to 1999 Lilith Fair was one of the highest grossing touring festivals and now 11 years later, we were soo glad that they're back!!! This years event was held at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine

When we got there we saw a line of people getting autographs and pictures so Kat and I checked it out and met Jes Hudak an up and coming artist. We think that she might be the next big thing so we got her to sign an autograph on our ticket and took a picture w/her...Jes is a really cool gal and her manager is nice too!!!

after having lunch we met a few cool people from New Zealand, Tracy & Kevin (siblings). Tracy came here to the event because she won it from a contest from their homeland (all expense paid trip and all!!! awesome huh???), funny thing is they don't know anyone from the lineup but thought the experience of travelling to the US and meeting people is cool...

after meeting Tracy and Kevin we thought that a fair wouldn't be complete without having funnel cake! it was soo delish!!!as you can tell i was really enjoying it!!! hehe

i knew it was going to get cold so i brought a change of clothes...change of outfits for moi lol...

the first performer was brandi carlile, followed by emmylou harris, jenni rivera, miranda lambert and sarah mclachlan...

i think the artist performing here was jenni rivera, she was really good, and she performed w/the mariachi band...

sarah was the last act and she performed songs from her old albums, and 3 from the new one...she was amazing!!! her encore song our fave "ice cream"!!! sarah's concert wouldn't be the same w/o her singing "ice cream" :)

overall concert experience, soo glad we went this year and hopefully the tour will come back next year, the crowd were not as much as years before, im thinking because there wasn't that much known artists on her lineup in the la show...

Sushi night

The day after 4th of July I decided how fun would it be if we would make our own sushi for dinner...I learned this from one of my staff at work Seunghee, she told me to just get some cucumbers, orange and yellow bell peppers, imitation crab and julienne them, avocados, and sushi wrapper...Kat and John came over too for some pool time and sushi night (we didn't get to take pics of us eating, we got into making sushi...kat and i while the boys ate and asked us to make more for them)

here's a finished product, i made some sushi as i ate them and it was delish!!!

I'm back!!!

Okay, well it's been forever since I last posted my blog...

A lot of stuff happened, first I got married last September 12, 2009
with a great guy who I dated for 7 years!!! Yes, Jaime and I finally
tied the knot!!!

Here are some of my fave pics from our wedding!!!

Our wedding was surreal, awesome, breathtaking...I would do the planning again if I could, although my husband wouldn't agree with me hehe...

After the wedding, we went for our mini honeymoon and stayed at the JW Marriot Villas @ Palm Desert. We had an awesome stay at the hotel, thanks to Jaime's cousin Jamie who's hubby gave us a really great deal for our 4 day 3 night stay at the resort!!!

Fast forward...9 months later, we decided its a good time to move on our own...we left our roommate and found our own place...we found this really nice luxury apartments by Archstone, here's some pics from our new home...
